Laura Panebianco founded her eponymous design firm in 2013. Originally from Colombia, she has passionately travelled the world collecting objects, photographs, and books. She completed her Master’s degree in Interior Design at Pratt Institute, and her undergraduate Architecture degree at Wellesley College. Her consulting and design experience have been shaped by her work with renowned firms such as Thom Filicia, Inc in New York and Matteo Thun & Partners in Milan.
Laura believes there is an inherent sophistication to spaces with timeless design. In keeping with this belief, permanence and elegance combined with a deep respect for each client’s vision form the basic tenets of Laura’s work. Color, texture and pattern are always a starting point, punctuated on occasion with a sprinkle of humor to bring lightness to a space. Quality, artistic expression, and a quest for the unique fuel Laura’s relentless love affair with design and are an ever-present source of inspiration in her work.
Studio Panebianco focuses on interior projects that include full residential renovations, consulting for decor and bespoke pieces.
Laura's most recent venture is a tabletop accessories line called COMUNIONE. The line is born from a collaboration with jewelry designer Pili Restrepo from The PR Series. The pieces are all hand-made in New York City.
